HISTORY

The Villa Borbone takes its name from the original owner, Princess Maria Teresa of the Spanish Royal House of Bourbon.

Such illustrious connections continued in the 19th century when Napoleon's sister, Elisa Baciocchi used it as a hunting lodge.

SETTING

Only 10 minutes from the beautiful, walled city of Lucca, the Villa is situated in classic, Tuscan countryside, with stupendous views from its spacious terrace towards the Versilian coast (Island of Elba, Leghorn).

It is just 30 MINS from Pisa and 60 MINS from Florence.

The Villa's elegance has been retained with antiques throughout, while at the same time offering all modern comforts - personal bathroom, air-conditioning, TV, mini-bar and outside swimming-pool.
